3's a band!

“3’s a band” showcases some of the greatest trios in the music industry from the 1960’s through until the 2000’s, covering a broad range of genres and styles.

What makes this show unique, is the stripped down versions and the interpretations of the songs, where the band doesn’t aim to replicate the original, but instead to deliver unique and original interpretations of each song.

The show comprises of Bass Guitar as the main instrument, with no other melodic instruments to support it. Andrew Warneke’s unique style of bass playing lends itself to creating unique versions of each song, supported only by tasteful percussion by Russel Sneyd, who carries the rhythm and drops it deep in the pocket every time. The vocal harmonies supplied by Claire Venn and Russel Sneyd are soulful and haunting, blending together beautifully and transporting the audience on a marvellous musical journey!
